Power Yoga at SASS is not your typical flow yoga. At SASS we believe that yoga should help you increase your flexibility and strengthen your body for all those other activities you enjoy in life. This is truly your balance yoga. We teach strengthening moves that focus on your core and prepare students who want to work on their handstand techniques. Don't worry if you aren't working toward your first handstand, just come out and sweat with us!
AcroYoga is a practice which combines acrobatics and yoga to develop strength, flexibility, balance and trust. Participants work in groups of three consisting of a base, flyer and spotter and will be guided through several partner poses and sequences. No prior experience or partner is required for the class. Bring your enthusiasm and energy to this fun and exciting experience.
This suspension yoga class was developed to guide you into a state of calmness and total balance; mind, body and spirit. The studio's lighting and soft music will help set the tone as your instructor guides you through a series of stretches and decompression poses that will leave you feeling relaxed and ready for the week to come. All suspension yoga techniques will be taught within the first classes. No experience required and modifications are available for anyone with a fear of inversions or suspension.
